Services
East Herts YMCA offers a range of services to its clients. Clients may be residents or external service users. In particular, housing is provided for young people between the ages of 18 and 30. Tenancies may run from six months to two years.
The range of services available to clients includes:
- Low cost housing
- Low to medium support self-contained accommodation
- Low to medium support accommodation with communal facilities
- Crash-pad - emergency accommodation
- Individual action/support plans to aid personal development
- Work and Learn programme
- Assessing educational and career needs
- Providing awareness of relevant opportunities for self-improvement
- Access to partnership service providers
- Assistance in planning move-on accommodation
- Counselling
- Debt management/personal budgeting
- Access to substance misuse intervention specialists
The East Herts YMCA continually seeks to introduce, offer and develop additional client services that enhance and complement services currently offered.
New services will be subject to the same policies of access, diversity and inclusion as its other activities.
