Eligibility
Applicants for accommodation must be:
- Between 18 and 30 years of age
- Capable of basic personal care
- Seeking single accommodation
- Willing to participate in a support plan appropriate to their needs
East Herts YMCA is not able to provide accommodation for couples or families.

However, limited staff resources mean that we cannot offer accommodation to people who:
- Have physical or learning difficulties and so need assistance to use the accommodation
- Have a significant history of violent and/or abusive behaviour and/or arson offences
- Need significant assistance with personal care
- Need staff involvement in the administration of medication
- Show a level of need that could not be supported by the staff team
- Have a criminal conviction for sexual offences
